2016: Real Wedding Ceremonies

The wedding ceremony. Often the shortest part of the day, but truly the most important to most, legally and emotionally. It goes by in the blink of an eye, thank goodness you have photographers and videographers to document it for you. Here is a short round up of some of the fabulous and touching wedding ceremonies I was lucky enough to be a part of in 2016. And if you are interested, check out all the venues I worked at in 2016.

Photo: Carly Romeo. Venue: Riverside on the Potomac. Florals: LynnVale Studios.  The arch blew me away and those large buckets down the aisle are perfectly to scale.

Photo: Pangtography. Venue: Timber Ridge Camp, High View WV. I love that both the bride and groom broke glass at the end of their Jewish ceremony.

Photo: Stephanie Dee. Venue: The Hendry House. Florals: LynnVale Studios. I just can’t get over the design here – it is spot on for this massive arch that exists at this Arlington, Virginia wedding venue.

Photo: Matt Mendelsohn. Venue: Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington DC. Florals: LynnVale Studios. Rain was threatening all afternoon, so we had to move the wedding ceremony and cocktail reception indoors but it still looked beautiful to me!

Photo: Stephen Bobb. Venue: Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington DC. Florals: LynnVale Studios. The weather cooperated and we were able to have this Jewish wedding ceremony on the terrace overlooking the Washington Monument.

Photo: Kurstin Roe. Venue: The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards. Florals: LynnVale. Mismatched vintage ceremony chairs: Something Vintage. I  love this design so much. I’d been wanting to use this set of chairs for so long and I finally found a couple who could also see how awesome it would be!
